Freestyle Wrestling Team of Georgian has started preparation
for European Championship. Head coach of National Team Revaz Mindorashvili and
members of coaching board David Poghosiani and Aleksandre Kakhniashvili arrived to Borjomi with 35 wrestlers and stayed at sport-complex
“Olimpi”. From these 30 sportsmen will be chosen seven for European championship.
Main candidates of the team will participate in international Tournament of Yasar Dogu in Turkey on February 9-10 and
on February 16-17 they will take part in
Ukrainian tournament. On February 21-22
Second Team will wrestle
in Wold Cup wich will take place in Iran. The last
meeting before European Championship will last for 10 days. European
championship will take place in Tbilisi on March 19-24.
